Gisele Silva

Teacher, First Year
LMT, BCST website

Gisele Silva, LMT, BCST, is a teacher for Alchemical Alignment- Somatic Tools for Trauma
Resolution and Embodiment of Spirit and an adjunct instructor for the Lancaster School of
Psychodrama and Experiential Psychotherapies. She incorporates her extensive training in
various bodywork modalities to bring healing and restoration to people who have suffered
physical, emotional, mental, energetic and relational injuries and imprints.
In addition to holding the credential of Licensed Massage Therapist, she is certified as a
Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist and an Alchemical Alignment practitioner and teacher
assistant for advanced levels and recently brought Alchemical Alignment to her native country of Brazil. She is also an advanced student in Somatic Experiencing. Her work focuses on creating capacity in the body and nervous system to process any traumatic memory (imprint),

metabolize and integrate traumatic shock on the system, restoring the alignment in the body’s anatomy and physiology, which helps regenerates the body’s original potential. After spending almost three decades training and studying healing arts in both her native
country of Brazil and the United States, she established her practice in Lancaster, Pa., in 2016. She has particularly worked with head trauma, including people who have suffered concussions, as well as those who have experienced pre-birth, birth, psychological and physical trauma.

Among her offerings are 1-1 sessions (in person and online), and teaching online and in-person classes. Learn more about Gisele here.

Brigit Viksnins

 Founder, and Teacher, Second Year
MAT, SEP, RCST®, BCTMB, LMT

Brigit (pronoun fluid), an advanced bodyworker, is the creator of the training program Alchemical Alignment. She is also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, and Board Certified Massage Therapist. She has undergrad and graduate degrees from Georgetown University. Brigit has had a successful private bodywork/somatics practice in the Washington, DC/Piscataway/Nacotchtank area since 1996. She is a mother, stepmother, and grandmother as well.

Brigit (Brigita) is a first-generation Latvian American, from a lineage rich with healers, midwives, authors, and teachers.  Her parents and all childhood community adults fled their homeland during WWII, becoming refugee immigrant children under bombs and in Displaced Person's camps, on their way to the USA. She has regularly traveled to post-Soviet Latvia to relate to the land, eat traditional foods, steep in the wisdom, arts and crafts of her ancestors, and also share her skills.

Brigit created a full body movement meditation -- latest videos recorded in the forest in Latvia -- called The Alignment Sequence, with permission based on movements from Aikido, Qi Gong, bodywork stretching, and her Latvian grandfather’s post-Siberian deportation morning routine. It is helpful for people who want to move beyond old patterns into their Original and Potential Blueprints, and cultivate self-regulation, resilience, presence, and power.

Brigit taught Massage Therapy at PMTI in the 90's, is a few hours away from being an association-approved Biodynamic Craniosacral (BCST) teacher (well, tbh, it has been over a decade and hasn't reached the top of the list yet), has assisted Somatic Experiencing (SE) trainings, and Body Into Being.

Since 2013, her devotion has been to Alchemical Alignment: Bodywork for Trauma Resolution and Embodiment of Spirit (see course feedback here). After facilitating fifteen cohorts of the First Year of the Alchemical Alignment program, Brigit now teaches the Second Year: the Death and Early Timeline Modules. She is developing the Rebirth/Spirit Modules as well.

Brigit values continuing education highly, and not only teaches, but also participates regularly in short or in-depth training programs as a student or an assistant. Recently those include programs by Ray Castellino and Anna Chitty (Body Into Being: PPN/BCST/SE/Polarity), Katherine Ukleja (post-grad BCST), Kain and Terrell (TST), Barral and Crobier (Neuromeningeal 1-5 and Visceral Osteopathic), Boxhall (BCST), van der Wal (Embryology), Upledger (CST), Barnes (MFR), Wanveer (Glia), Degranges (PPN/BCST/SE), Taussig (Distance Osteopathic), Bosbach Largent (Family Constellations Foundation, Norse Vala, Ancestral Mediumship), Esterman (Shadow Constellations), Eini (Karmic Constellations), Blackwell (Cosmic, Dark and Light Constellations), Bergstrom (Depo, Curse Unraveling), as well as regular ASD/ASU morning class Aikido training starting in 1991. Here is a list of some classes that have influenced her worldview. Brigit's private practice calendar is closed for now as she teaches, and supports the school programs.
